Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard take their 5-year-old daughter, Ramona, to Central Park on Friday (November 25) in New York City.
The 34-year-old actress’s new film, Hysteria, has been picked up by Sony Pictures.
The studio acquired the U.S. and South African rights to the rom-com, which also co-stars Hugh Dancy and centers on the invention of the vibrator.
“Hysteria is a winner on all counts. It is funny, fresh and warm. From director Tanya Wexler’s expert filmmaking to her accomplished production team (sets, costumes and cinematography are all impressive) to the great performances from the entire cast (Maggie Gyllenhaal is at an all-time career best here), this is a movie audiences will embrace in a major way,” Sony said in a release (via EW).
